During my time at Ashley, I successfully launched @ashleyofficial on TikTok, launched video content on Pinterest, and added Reels to the Instagram strategy. I partnered with the creative team to craft a one of a kind process for capturing original content for social without a studio. The videos I created and filmed are still being used to this day on their channels. My experience includes filming, researching trends, ideating fresh concepts, and editing.
Make it relevant.
The goal when I was running @ashleyofficial was to change the perspective on Ashley. The strategy was simple create content around the needs of our new audience. Make Ashley the design bestie by creating relevant home centric content.
Make it fun.
A creative transition, never fails. My motto was to create content that I wanted to see online. If the person creating the video isn't having a good time, then the audience won't either. Especially since you have 3 seconds to make them care about you and your content.
Never stop playing.
I always encouraged myself and team to continue to push boundaries. Whether it was working with celebrities/influencers or just a room, there are so many ways to make it interesting.
